About Gicleé Printing
Gicleé (jhee-clay) - Derived from the French verb gicler meaning to squirt. The term gicleé print typically connotes a certain elevation in print making technology. Images are high-resolution digital scans printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates. The gicleé process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. Gicleé prints are advantageous to artists who find it not feasible to mass-produce their work, but want to reproduce their art as needed. Once an image is archived, additional reproductions can be made with minimal effort and cost. Thus the up-front cost of mass production is eliminated and printing is done on demand. Another tremendous advantage to Gicleé printing is that artwork can be reproduced to almost any size and on various media, giving the artist the ability to customize prints for a specific client. Permanence is a concern to artists and collectors.

How can I protect my print?
If you choose to frame your print, take it to a professional. Make sure your mat board and any tape used is pH neutral. I recommend using 8-ply front mat board so that there is generous airspace between the print and the glazing. Never hang your art in direct sunlight. If you don't frame your print, then store it flat between sheets of archival-quality paper. When you're not enjoying the work, keep it in a cool, dark, dry place. As with all works on paper, you should keep the piece out of direct sunlight as much as possible.

Keep in mind that viewing images
on the Internet has limitations.

Please be assured that when you receive your prints, you will be simply amazed with detail, sharpness and color fidelity. Print dimensions depend on the artist's original dimensions or aspect ratio. Each Gicleé is shipped with the utmost care. Prints are ready for matting and framing. Please allow 10 - 14 days for order completions. You may exchange your prints with an acceptable reason (we decide what's acceptable) within 30 days from date of purchase. Prints must be free from damage, dents, creases, spills or stains.
